Aramark is offering a dining plan to faculty and staff that offers the same deep discount in the Parkside Cafe along with the flexibility to use the Dining Plan at the other retail food locations.

How does the Plan work?
You must present your Ranger Card to access your Dining Plan at all of our dining locations. Of the $229 faculty\Staff Dining Plan $95 is used to cover basic costs such as utilities, staff and service required to provide a full dining services operation. The remaining $134 will appear on your Ranger Card Dining plan account. You are entitled to purchase as much as you wish at the Parkside Cafe at a 50% discount. As a result the $134 on your card is actually worth $268 in buying power in the Parkside Cafe.

Can I eat in other areas other than Parkside Cafe?
Yes, you will be able to use your Dining Plan at Wyllie Market or Starbucks. Dining Plan Members pay retail prices at these location.

How long will the Plan Last?
Each Semester you will need to sign up and purchase the Faculty\Staff Dining Plan. If necessary you may add up to $50 to your Dining Plan account each semester with no additional administrative fee. The plan is valid until the end of the academic year. Balances do not roll over from academic year to academic year.

Do I have to pay Sales Tax?
As a faculty or Staff member the state does require that you pay sales tax. The sales tax however will be paid only on the portion of the plan that is directly used for food. Sales tax is paid at the time of purchase, therefore the total cost of the plan is $227.

How do I sign up and pay for a Plan?
You can sign up at the Ranger Card office. There are a variety of payment options available: cash, check, credit card or payroll deduction. Please note payroll deduction is only available until the end of the second week of each semester.
