How do I sign up for more Dining Dollars?

1. Log into the E-Bill website under the student section. (Under authorized user tab if you are a parent)
2. Click on the "Deposit" Tab
3. Select the current term
4. Select the "Deposit Type"
5. Enter the Payment Amount
6. Click on "Make Deposit Payment"
7. Enter Payment Information
8. Submit the payment
9. Receive confirmation

How do I sign up or change my Meal Plan?

You may stop into the Dining Services Office located in Craig Hall, to sign up or change your meal plan.

**PLEASE NOTE:
The deadline to change Meal Plans is the 5:00pm Friday, January 13th.

Interested in a Summer Meal Plan?
  
   10 Meals Per Week for $295 per summer session

Summer 1 - June 4th though July 3rd
Summer 2 - July 9th through August 7th

  To sign up for a summer meal plan, please stop into the Dining Services Office located in Craig Hall. MasterCard, American Express, Discover and personal check are accepted. Students can also add summer meal plans to their e-bill through their MyCharleston online portal.

DINING PLANS 101

Dining plans make your life simpler! A magnetic stripe on the back of your student ID card works with our computer system to identify you as a dining plan member. Dining plans are easy, economical and help you acclimate to your busy campus lifestyle. Plans come in lots of shapes and sizes. You can find one that’s right for you.

Guaranteed Meals (Meals per Week Plans)
Know where your next meal is coming from. The guaranteed meals let you enjoy all-you-care-to-eat dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Liberty St. Fresh Food Company and City Bistro. Each time you eat in our dining location, one meal is subtracted from the guaranteed meals on your plan. You may choose from a varying number of guaranteed meals per week or per semester. Choose the number of meals based on your eating habits and campus schedule. On this plan, your meals are budgeted into 'per week sets'. You may use up to 3 meals per day, one per meal period. Meal periods are defined on the Meal Plan FAQs tab.

Block Meals
A great value! Block Meals provide a number of all-you-care-to-eat meals at Liberty St. Fresh Food Company and City Bistro per semester. Simply present your dining card at the restaurant entrance and your meal is deducted from the semester meal balance in your account. You can eat as many meals as you wish in a given day; there are no meal period restrictions with Block Plans. You can also swipe a friend with your Block Plan!

Dining Dollars
Pay as you go. Our meal plans include Dining Dollars, which can be used in all of our dining locations on campus. They work like bank debit cards. Use your Dining Dollars for beverages, snacks or full meals for yourself and your friends. Each time you make a purchase, the total is subtracted from the balance in your account. Plus, Dining Dollars can be added to your card at any time (minimum purchase of $50) and roll over from year to year

  • Students have until Tuesday, August 14th to sign up for a Fall 2012 Meal Plan online. For a tutorial on how to use the My Charleston Portal, please visit click here.
  • Meal plans begin Friday, August 17th at dinner.
  • Meal plan changes can be made in the Dining Services office located in Craig Hall. All changes MUST be made by Monday, August 27th by 5pm.
 
MEAL PLAN OPTIONS
Fall Semester 2012 and Spring 2013
  • First time resident freshmen, regardless of hours, and transfer students who have not completed a full year at another institution must select either a 21, 15 or 10 Meals per Week plan or the 200 or 175 Block Plan (any of the first five listed). 

                  NOTE: If you a freshman seeking on-campus housing, you may choose your meal plan during the housing application process. Please DO NOT sign up for a meal plan using the MyCharleston online housing portal or attempt to change your meal plan using the portal. If you have any questions concerning your meal plan, please call 843.953.5539 or email diningservicescustomerservice@cofc.edu. 

  • Resident upperclassmen and commuters may select any plan, but are not required to purchase a plan.

Dining Dollars Can be purchased at any point in the semester ($50 minimum purchase). Add them to a dining plan for extra spending power, or purchase Dining Dollars alone if you don't purchase a dining plan.
