How do the New Meal Equivalencies Work?
Meal equivalencies are complete meals at each retail location. For example, at Burger Studio, you may choose from a Single Angus Burger, Veggie Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, or Chicken Tenders. This meal also includes Fresh Cut Fries and a Medium Fountain Beverage. For a list of what the meal equivalencies are at each location, please visit the locations page on this website.
If you would like to get something in addition to your meal equivalency, you may. Anything not included in the meal equivalency will be deducted from your Dining Dollars. If, for example, you ordered a pita from Extreme Pita, you may add any toppings that you wish. The toppings that do not cost any extra will be included in your meal equivalency. However, if you were to add double meat, a meal is deducted and the additional cost of adding extra meat can be paid with your dining dollars, cash, credit card or hawk cash.
Hopefully this has cleared up any misconceptions about the new meal equivalency program. Enjoy the rest of your semester!
Questions about meal equivalencies can be directed to any manager on duty, through “Contact Us” on our website or you can visit the ID office on the 1st floor of GSU.
