Nun's Island

Located behind the Cathedral in the McLaughlin Palmer Building, Nun’s Island is a satellite location which offers seating for approximately forty people. Nun’s Island is a remote snack bar which offers a selection of crisps, sandwiches, soups, paninis, minerals, chocolate, pastries, scones, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and more. This remote location is comfortable and quiet. It is the perfect place to have a snack or take away lunch and study uninterrupted. We consider it the best kept secret around campus.
