In order to return to work in the Fall, the following is expected of you: - Fill out the Returning Student Survey. - You are required to attend Student Employment Day on September 22, 2012. - You must have a current, valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit.

University Dining Services is now hiring student workers for Fall 2012. Positions are available in resident dining halls, catering and on-campus cafés & markets. The types of jobs include caterer, cook, cook assistant, barista/cashier, cashier, dining room attendant, food server and more. University Dining Services at WWU is provided by Aramark. We employ over 500 student staff and every member of our team is a critical part of our success. Students must be currently enrolled at a local community college or university to apply.
Working for University Dining Services (Aramark) at Western provides valuable experience to complement your education. You can gain practical, transferable skills, opportunities for advancement and future employment. Additional benefits include flexible schedules, meals/snacks when you work, and a friendly work environment.
Wages & Merit Increases Entry-level student employees will start at $9.04/hr. Students can expect to receive a performance review annually.

Food and Beverage Worker's Card It is important to know that if you come to work for University Dining Services you have a current Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Card. In accordance with Washington State Health Department regulations, every University Dining Services employee must have a copy of a valid Washington State Food Worker's card at their place of employment.
