These meal plans plus Mountaineer Bucks (aka Declining Balance Dollars)are designed to provide flexibility and convenience for those with busy campus lifestyles. Mountaineer Meal Plan meals and Mountaineer Bucks can be used anytime during the academic year. You are not restricted to using an allotted number of meals per week or quarter, but rather you have the entire academic year to enjoy your meal plan. If at anytime during the academic year you run out of meals, you may simply purchase another meal plan.

Did you know that we have designed custom Dining Memberships especially for you? Dining Memberships are the easy and affordable way to eat on campus throughout the year! Fresh for the 2012/2013 school year, we have options for you!
Option #1 - Combination Dining Membership Options: Our Combination Dining Memberships provide you a pairing of all-you-care-to-eat meals at Mountie Cafe each week and a set amount of Flex funds to spend like cash at any dining location or for catering. The meal allowance is designed to be convenient for students and staff who will be living on or near campus during the academic year. The DBD's are great because it give you flexibility in purchasing treats anywhere!
All Meals can be used at Mountie Cafe for Lunch and Dinner Monday-Friday, and Saturday and Sunday during Brunch and Dinner. Meals may also be used at Mac's Grill During Breakfast Hours on specified entrees.

Where can I use my meals (also known as board meals)?

Mac’s Grill- During Breakfast Hours (7:30am-10:30 am) board meals may be used only on selected breakfast menu items. During Lunch and/or Dinner Bag Lunches are offered on a first come first serve basis and they are located in the grab-n-go cooler. There is a limit of one (1) Bag Lunch during a meal period.

Mountie Cafe- is open 11:15am-1:30pm for lunch and 5:30pm-7:15pm for dinner. Board meals may be used upstairs for any meal period. Mountie Cafe is also open on Saturday and Sunday for lunch 11:15am-1:30pm and dinner 5:30pm-7:15pm , board meals may also be used during these times.
When Do Commuter Plan Board Meals and Mountaineer Bucks expire?
- ALL Commuter Plan Board Meals and Mountaineer Bucks expire on June 15, 2013.
Combination Dining Memberships are priced and can be purchased through the Residence Life Office at Hoke 111. Call them at 541-962-3553 if you have further questions!
Remember, you can add Mountaineer Bucks to any Combination Dining Membership to power pack your plan

Option # 2 - Mountie Bucks
Mountie Bucks are accepted like cash at Mac’s Grill, for catered events and for additional or guest meals in Mountie Cafe. It works on the same principle as an ATM or debit card. You can draw from your Mountie Bucks (aka Declining Balance Dollars) for beverages, snacks or full meals for you and your friends at any time. Whenever you buy a meal on campus, the total amount of your purchase is subtracted from your dining membership dollars and you can add additional DBD's to your card at any time.

All funds and plans purchased for use at EOU Dining are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. The funds and plans at Eastern Oregon University cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate.
Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all funds and plans are non-refundable and will expire the last day of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or the last day of the current semester.
Mountaineer Meal Plans and Mountaineer Bucks (Declining Balance Dollars) funds are non-refundable.
Unused Meals from any voluntary meal plan and Mountaineer Bucks (DBD) balances expire on June 15, 2013.
