At our main campus restaurant, Boise River Café, we offer something for everyone! Most notably, BRC has a great atmosphere to catch up with friends!

We heard you and we responded! Students have expressed their wish that the Boise River Cafe be open later. This is our response: hot, freshly made meals, hours as late as 12 a.m. and the same great service. We are always doing our best to serve our customers. Let us know what you think!
Employee Spotlight
James Cook
Boise River Café Cashier
James Cook has worked for ARAMARK for about three years. His favorite part of the job is the opportunity, “to see the manifestation of a corporation from ground level.” James works the cash register at the front of the Boise River Café and is probably one of the most recognizable employees as a result (well, that and his rich beard). He is also responsible for keeping the restaurant clean and the shelves stocked.
James has lived in Boise for 23 years. He has a serious appreciation for the recreational lifestyle. James likes to go running, rafting, hiking, and mountain biking. Oh, and he doesn’t just mountain bike, James unicycles on the mountain. He read a magazine article a while back which featured the challenging sport and James decided to give it a shot. He’s been rolling with it ever since. James also likes to skateboard and break-dance.
James’ favorite actors are Charlie Chaplin and Jim Carry. He said he likes them because, “of their skill in blending physical movement and comedy.”
In the past, James has worked for the Holiday Inn, McDonald’s and the facilities team in the Student Union Building. He has an educational background in Communication and Video Production. He will be attending Boise State University in the fall to study Mathematics as well as Music. His dream job is to own Universal Studios.
