Sustainability on Campus

Cougar Woods Dining Hall

The Cougar Woods Dining Hall is a landmark for sustainability on campus, being the first campus building to qualify for LEED certification. Find out more about the building and its sustainable features at the Office of Sustainability website.

Fair Trade Coffee & Tea

We offer fair trade coffee at all of our coffee locations on campus - Starbucks, Einstein's Bagels, The Fresh Food Company, Cougar Woods and the convenience stores. We also offer fair trade teas at the convenience stores.

Learn more about fair trade by visiting www.fairtradeusa.org.

Reusable To-Go Program

We offer reusable to go containers to guests of our residential restaurant. These can be checked out with only a $5 refundable deposit at either the Fresh Food Company in Moody Towers or the Real Food on Campus at Cougar Woods. The containers can then be returned at the either residential restaurant, and the Cougar Xpress Markets across campus. Learn more about the process below.
