-
Buffet Service - Each guest goes through a buffet line and any food remaining would be available for seconds. No "take outs" allowed under any circumstances.
-
Box Lunches, Sandwich & Salad Platters - A variety of menus are available for that lunch that is a little less formal and can be served quickly for a seminar lunch or informal gathering.
-
Weekend Service - All weekend events will be subject to additional labor charge for overtime incured. |
Guarantee and Cancelation
| |
-
Three days prior to your event, we ask that you contact us with the exact number of people you are expecting. This is the guaranteed amount we will prepare for and that you will pay for. Due to delivery schedules, etc. we may not be able to make adjustments with less than 48 hours notice.
-
The Catering department will prepare for 5% above the guaranteed number, up to 15 people. You will be billed for 100% of the number guaranteed or the number of guests served, which ever is larger. If you do not submit a guarantee number within the 3 days, your tentative guarantee will become your guarantee number.
-
In the event of a cancelation, notification is required a minimum of 72 hours prior to the event. If cancelations are made after this time period, any expenses incurred may be billed. |
During holidays and semester breaks, adjustments in our charges will be made, due to the additional labor cost. There will be a charge for "off site" catering events that are not on the ULM Campus.
On Campus Catering
Three copies of the Intra-campus Requisition will be completed in the Campus Dining Office following the event with details and cost for the event. This requisition will be sent to the department with a Supplemental Information for Food and Meal Purchases form to be completed, by your department, if you are paying with on campus funds. Forms are to be returned to Catering Services within one week. Catering Services will process the requisition for payment, with the Comptroller's Office.
Personal & Corporate Accounts
Payment for catered events must be made in cash or with personal check, prior to the event.
Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
Pick Up & Delivery Service
-
Pick up is available through the Catering Office. If equipment is loaned to you, you will be responsible for its safe return at the agreed upon time.
-
All events outside the Student Center must have a $50 minimum order or a delivery fee will be charged.
-
University events off campus will be charged an additional $25 delivery charge.
-
Events held more than 10 miles from the main campus will be charged $25 delivery charge, plus $.50 per miles, plus any additional charges for labor. |
Special Arrangements
-
Special attractions, such as ice carvings, fruit, cheese and vegetable carvings or displays are also available.
-
Formal events, including weddings, special receptions, or breaks utilizing china service, linen, or skirting will require an additional fee.
