Student Block Plan "Frequently Asked Questions"

Where can I use my
Student block plan?

Meals per semester can only be
used at the RFoC at Roadrunner
Café. Dining Dollars can be used
at all our campus dining locations,
including the Downtown food court.

Can I change my block plan?
Yes, prior to the 12th class day of
each semester. If you are a Laurel
Village or Chaparral Village resident,
visit the Office of Housing and
Residential Life at Laurel Village.
Visit the UTSACard Office if you
live in University Oaks, Chisholm
Hall or commute to campus and
complete a Block Plan Change Form.

How many all-you-care-to-eat
meals can I use in one day?
You can use up to three (3) meals
per meal period (Breakfast, Lunch
and Dinner) for a total of nine (9) on
weekdays and six (6) on weekends
(Brunch and Dinner).

What do I do if my Dining Dollars
run low?
You may add Rowdy Dollars to your
UTSACard using cash, check, or
credit card (MasterCard or Discover)
at one of the Fiscal Services locations,
with cash at a Cash Value Station, or
through your ASAP account.

Can I use my block plan at the
Downtown UTSA Campus?
Yes, you can use your Dining
Dollars at the Downtown Campus
food court. Your all-you-care-to-eat
meals can only be used at the RFoC
at Roadrunner Café.

Do my meals carry over from
semester to semester?

Unused All-You-Care-To-Eat meals
and Dining Dollars do not transfer
from Fall to Spring semester. At the
end of each semester, unused meals
and Dining Dollars are nonrefundable.
