Begining on Tuesday, July 8th,
Only Reusable, Eco To-Go Containers will be availabe in the SFA Dining Halls

What are Eco To-Go Containers?
Eco To-Gos are durable and leak resistant, opaque containers. They are:recyclable (#5), BPA free (Bisphenol A is a potentially harmful chemical found in plastics), National Sanitation Foundation Certified (gold standard for sanitation), sanitized per the Texas Health Department regulation. And of course, the reusable containers reduce waste. Currently, SFA disposes of over 7,600 disposable to-go containers weekly! That's over 230,000 during an academic year!

It's just 3 simple steps: Swipe and Eat, Return and Repeat!

The program works similar to a library card system:
Each SFA Id-card holder gets one Eco To-Go container for free. Using the customer's Id-card, we keep track of which customers have an Eco To-Go container "checked in" or "checked out" of the dining halls.Once the Eco To-Go container has left the RFoC, it belongs to the customer. To get a second container (second meal in an Eco To-Go), the customer must return the first container, or they can choose to purchase a second container for a $5 replacement fee.

Customers can always get a whole meal from our RFoC Express coolers if they forget or lose their Eco To-Go container and are too busy to sit in the dining hall.

Containers can be returned (during normal business hours*) to any of the following locations' cashiers:
- Einstein Bros. Bagels, Library
- C Store, BPSC

* During Summer Sessions 1 and 2, Eco To-Go containers will only be accepted at the East College Dining Hall.
