Real food on campus (RFoC) is a culinary revolution. It utilizes the freshest ingredients and moves the focus from the back-of-the-house to the front to create the ultimate student dining experience. Our mission is to:

This concept came about because of your comments and requests. We feel Residential Restaurants can serve real food with fresh, healthy, and diverse options which are all customized to meet your lifestyle needs in a comfortable and cool atmosphere. From the food to the environment-this is the real deal.

Grab N' Go
Becuase you are able to get your food to-go when eating at Cafe Belvin, it allows you to study for class, keep up on your favorite TV shows, or just have the convenience of your quiet time.

We offer a wide variety!

• Always a popular choice: we carry pizza by the slice, made daily with fresh dough.
• Keep it simmering with our soups, chili, or nacho cheese rotating through twin kettles.
• Stuff it your way with our 97% fat free deli meat sandwiches, custom built while you watch.
• Try our baked potatoes, stuffed your way.
• We provide a different grilled favorite every day.
• We have one of the biggest fresh salad bars offered in town.
• For your sweet tooth we carry a mix of hot cobbler, cakes, cookies, brownies, and soft frozen desserts.
• One Time Only is a unique feature at SHSU. It is a direct response to student's request. Features include upscale entrees offered during Late Night. The trade off is that you may be served an entree one time only per visit.
• Our splash of beverages include that of fresh fruit juice every meal, milk, fresh brewed coffee, tea, and sodas.

Kat Snack Kart
This creative little Kart is on campus monday-friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day. It is equipped with drinks, snacks, food, and coffee! The Kat Snack Kart is conveniently located inbetween the Lee Drain Building and the Farrington Building which makes stopping to get something to eat or drink quick and easy while walking between classes.
