These meal plan options are also available to commuters, faculty and staff.
These plans offer a lower buy-in amount, with fewer meals and more Cafe Cash.

Cafe Cash

Cafe Cash is a declining balance account on your Student ID card.  It works exactly the same as a debit card or a check card does.  Once you add Cafe Cash to your account, you can make purchases at any of the Dining Services locations by simply presenting your ID card.  Cafe Cash can be used for not only food, but for items in the Eagle Express.  Unused Cafe Cash points remaining at the end of the spring semester are non-refundable and are forfeited on June 30th.

Cafe Cash is beneficial to have for a number of reasons, consider the following:

→ Cafe Cash eliminates the need to carry around cash.  You can use Cafe Cash in Dinkins Food Court, Java City, The Courtyard Food Court, Einstein Bros. Bagel and the Eagle Express C-store for food, beverages, snacks and supplies.

→ You will receive a 7-9% discount on any purchase made with Cafe Cash.

→ You can set up an online account with ONECARD options to view your Cafe Cash balance right on our website.  If you are low on dollars, conveniently purchase more ONLINE!

→ Students, Faculty and Staff, Parents and others can add dollars to their or their student's Cafe Cash account ONLINE with their Visa or MasterCard.  It is safe and secure, using the latest technology approved by the credit card industry.

A student can set up their parent to view the student's balance online via the FAMILY LINK!

→ Guess what Mom and Dad, you won't need to remember your student' ID card number to make a purchase for them, just link your student via the FAMILY LINK, after your student has set up their own account ONECARD options.

→ Cafe Cash will carry over from the Fall to the Spring semester.  All Cafe Cash not used by June 30th will expire.
