WCU Campus Dining is a vital part to the Western experience.  We take pride in offering a variety of dining locations serving quality food.  We offer national brands such as Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, McAlister's Deli, & Panda Express.  The 2nd floor of the brand new Courtyard Dining Hall offers a residential restaurant serving a variety of dishes daily.

Why buy a Meal Plan?
  • The flexibility of choosing a dining location that fits your busy schedule
  • Never have to carry cash, its all on your CatCard
  • Monthly special events
  • And of course, you'll save money!

    How Do They Work?
Our meal plans are developed with our customers in mind.  Each meal plan offers the customer a wide selection of dining choices, giving them the flexibility to choose their next meal. Your meal plan is tracked on your CatCard.  Simply, swipe your CatCard and happy eating!

Block Meals are only valid for the semester in which they are purchased.  Any block meals not used at the end of the semester expire and are no longer valid.  Your block meals are to be used at the Courtyard Dining Hall RFoC.

Declining Balance works just like a debit card.  Your allotted amount of declining balance is on your CatCard, so don't lose it.  Any declining balance dollars left on your account at the end of the fall semester will roll over to the spring semester.  At the end of the spring semester all declining balance left on the account expires and is no longer valid.  Your declining balance can be used at all dining locations and snack machines.

    * You must be present at all times to use your Cat Card.  You can use block meals to feed guest/friends if you purchased any meal plan other than an "Unlimited Plan" (ie. Catamount Plus or Catamount).  The dining hall block meal portion of the "Unlimited Plans" can only be used by the person who purchased the plan.  The Declining Balance points of ANY meal plan can be used for guest/friends, but the plan holder must be present with the card.  If you are not present when your card is used for payment the card will be confiscated for your protection. *
