Q: How do I place an order online for GiftsNThings - step by step?
A:

  • Login, If you do not yet have a login click the login button then click “create new account” using the email address & password of your choice.
  • If you have not already, add your credit card billing address under “My Account” “Manage Addresses."  You will also need to include your gift recipient's school address in this same section.
  • Click on the 'Care Packages' section on the website.
  • Select the GiftsNThings package or gift item you wish to purchase and add it to your cart. Continue to follow the directions on each page of the checkout process.
  • The shopping site supports either Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera browsers (Macintosh or PC), Safari is not a supported browser.


Q: How will my student receive their gift?
A: GiftsNThings will arrange for a pick up by your student at our conveniently located on campus office.  Keep in mind that we do require 4 days advanced notice for cake orders.  Your student will be contacted by phone that they have a special gift waiting for them.  GiftsNThings are available to be picked up from Sunday through Saturday.  


Q: I would like to include a personalized message on my student's cake or with my gift package, what should I do?
A: If you would like to include an inscription on your cake, or provide a gift message, please make sure to click on the 'View Detail' link located right below the picture of the item on the shopping site.  You will then be able to record your message, up to 25 characters, in the comment box appearing on the right hand side of the page.  The comments will be sent directly to us upon completion of the checkout process.

Q: What will I need to place an order online?
A: You will need a credit card to pay for your purchase.  You will also need to know your gift recipient's school address, including their phone number.  You will need to enter this address in the 'My Account' 'Manage Addresses' section of the site, in additon to the billing address of your credit card.  You should have both addresses inside the 'Manage Addresses' section.  We accept both Visa and Mastercard.

Q: Why do I need to create an account?
A: In order for you to make a purchase and to check on your order status, you will need to create an account prior to making a purchase.  To make an account, click the 'Login' button located on the upper right hand side of the website, and then on the login page, click the "Create a new account" link.  You can then set up your account with the email address and password of your choice.


Q: I forgot my password, what do I do now?
A: Click the “Login” button, and then on the login page click the “Forgot Password / Locked Out” link. On the following page enter your email address to have a new password emailed to you.  Please make sure you check your junk email folder, or denote CampusDish as an approved sender, as your email software may initially block emails from CampusDish. 


Q: My account is locked, how do I unlock it?
A: Click the “Login” button, and then on the login page click the “Forgot Password / Locked Out” link. On the following page enter your email address to have a new password emailed to you. This will also unlock your account.  Please make sure you check your junk email folder, or denote CampusDish as an approved sender, as your email software may initially block emails from CampusDish.
 


Q: Is shopping online with GiftsnThings secure?
A: Absolutely!  We use a 128 bit encryption and the latest in technology to protect your personal information.  We are 100% compliant with the SOX and PCI industry standards for credit card security.  




Q: Why am I getting an error on the payment page?
A:

  • Did you select a credit card type from the drop down box?
  • Is the credit card number correctly entered?
  • Is the address you selected as the billing address the same as the credit card’s billing address?
  • Is the expiration date correct, and not in the past?
  • Is the CVV code from the back of your card entered correctly?
  • Do you check the terms and conditions box?
