Barbara Antley Controller
|
Barbara obtained her Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel’s College of Professional Studies and is currently enrolled in their Graduate Program to obtain her MBA. She has over thirty years of business experience in the Charleston community and plans to teach evening college classes in the future. Barbara enjoys family activities, movies and reading. |
Lisa M. Tharpe Iron Gate Events Event Manager

Lisa has been with iron gate events since November of 2008 and loves it! She grew up in Greenville, SC and moved to Charleston in 1995. As a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Management, she is a competitive pool player and has been a member of the APA since 1999. Her favorite TV show is "Top Chef" and has a guility pleasure for any of the "Real Housewives" programs. |
Christina Carpin Iron Gate Events Event Manager |
Christina graduated with a B.S. in Retail at University of South Carolina. Originally from Charleston, she came back to study Culinary Arts at Trident Technical College. She has been with iron gate events since graduation. In her spare time, Christina enjoys shopping, cooking, boat rides, and going out to eat. |
Whitney H. Ortega Location Manager

Whitney is a 2001 Graduate from Clemson University where she received a B.S. in Business Management with a Minor in Human Resources. Whitney has been with Aramark since she was a freshman in college in 1997. Her journey began here, at the Citadel, in August of 2006 after staying at home with her two children for two years. Whitney is a true Southern girl, she loves the beach, water skiing, wide brim hats, shagging, sweet tea, Clemson football, but most of all her children. |

When Chef isn’t busy managing the production of 6000 meals a day for the hungry South Carolina Corp of Cadets at the Citadel, Jeff spends his time perfecting the menus of countless affairs both on and off campus through iron gate events. Originally from Victoria, Virginia Jeff moved to Charleston to study at Johnson and Wales University and lives by his motto: “Simple Food and Simple Flavors. Jeff’s creativity and dedication has won him many awards recognizing his culinary talent and commitment to sustainability. A converted southerner, Jeff lives in Charleston with his wife Heather and son Tyler. |

Greg McMasters Sous Chef |
Chef Gregory followed in his father’s footsteps as a sales representative until the age of 34 when he decided to follow his life long dream to study and become a chef. Greg has earned his degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Whales University and is passionate about taking ordinary food to the next level. He resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife Trina and daughter Tori. |
Jenna Hunt Director of Iron Gate Events |
Jenna is from Mendham, New Jersey and came to Charleston in 2003 to attend the College of Charleston. She graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in Psychology and began working at The Citadel. She is excited to start the 2010-2011 school year as the new Director of iron gate events. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, food, going to the beach and watching all wedding reality shows. |
Jennifer Warren Iron Gate Events Sales Coordinator |
Jennifer grew up in Newnan, GA and moved to Charleston in 2004 to attend The College of Charleston. She was a double major in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Business Administration. As a senior she interned at Aramark at The Citadel upon graduation she became Assistant Sales Coordinator. She is now the Sales Coordinator and has been with Aramark for over 2 years. She serves on the board as Programs Chair for the Charleston NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) Chapter. She enjoys sewing, shopping and cooking. |
