Meal Plan Variety
UTC Dining Services offers a variety of meal memberships designed for students who will be living on campus or commuting to campus several times a week during the academic year. With a Meal Membership, you have the option of a set number of meals for you to use anytime during the semester or all access meals that you can use anytime. All plans include Mocs Bucks that can be used for any dining on campus.
Mocs Bucks Mocs Bucks are accepted like cash at all the dining facilities on campus. It works on the same principle as an ATM card. Each time you make a purchase the total amount of that purchase will be subtracted from your card.
Dining Membership Requirement All first year residents are required to purchase a meal plan. All other campus residents will be enrolled in the Gold Club Fund, unless they prefer to upgrade to a Meal Plan. Each resident is only required a single contract (two semesters) with Dining Services: Either a Club Fund OR a Meal Membership - not both.
Non-Resident Dining Living off campus brings a different set of needs and challenges to college life. Non-Residents at UTC are offered a select group of meal plans specifically tailored with flexibility in mind. All non-resident plans are offered in blocks of meals that can be used at any time, and include Mocs Bucks that can be used at any dining location on campus. Pay for your non-resident meal plan at the Bursar's office in University Center.
