Meal Plans - Frequently Asked Questions
Can I carry over my unused meals to the next week?It depends on your plan. If you have the Tiger 50 Plan, you have 50 meals to use anyway you like. However, if you have the 5 or 10 plan, the meals must be used in the week they are assigned and cannot be carried over to the next week. All meal plans conclude at the end of the spring semester.
Do my unused Declining Balance Dollars transfer to the next semester?YES! Declining Balance Dollars rollover from fall to spring, but all DB expires at the end of the academic year.
Can I change my Meal Plan? Yes. For the first week of each semester you can change your plan simply by going to the Residence Life Office in Richardson Towers and completing a Membership Change Form.
Can I treat a friend to a meal on my plan?It depends. Only you can use meals, one meal per period. But you can certainly treat a friend to a meal at any of our other dining facilities on campus using your Declining Balance Dollars (DB).
