Mississippi State is committed to providing its students with a comprehensive educational experience. The University has determined that for most college students, on-campus dining has numerous educational, social, and dietary benefits. In recognition of the value of on-campus dining, Mississippi State University has made the decision to improve upon on-campus dining with new locations and improved meal plans.

Our "Lifestyle" Meal Plans allow students a choice of many dining options within one set price point. This means that students can choose between meal plans that offer more meals per semester or offer more flex dollars per semester.

The Meal Plans consist of two parts: block meals and flex dollars.  Block meals are "meal swipes" used at Marketplace at Perry and RFoC at Templeton.  Flex dollars are used at our retail locations, such as the Union Food Court, Burger King, and State Fountain Bakery.  A benefit that is offered with our meal plans is with the purchase of a spring meal plan any remaining Flex Dollars at the end of the FALL semester will roll over into the SPRING semester meal plan. Block meals will end at the end of each semester.  The meal plan will expire completely at the end of Spring semester.
