Meal Plans
Mississippi State is committed to providing its students with a comprehensive educational experience. The University has determined that for most college students, on-campus dining has numerous educational, social, and dietary benefits. In recognition of the value of on-campus dining, Mississippi State University has made the decision to improve upon on-campus dining with new locations and improved meal plans.
The Meal Plans consist of two parts: block meals and flex dollars. Block meals are "meal swipes" used at Perry Dining Hall and RFoC at Templeton. Flex dollars are used at our retail locations, such as the Union Food Court, Burger King, and State Fountain Bakery. As of fall 2010, block meals may be used at the Union Food Court and Burger King after 4 p.m. everyday! A block meal is equivalent to $5.75 at the food court or Burger King. Lunch block meals may also be used at McArthur Cafe Express and Pegasus Dining at the Vet School. Any flex dollars will roll over from the fall semester to the spring semester. Block meals will expire at the end of each semester. The meal plan will expire completely at the end of Spring semester.
Please note: All meal plans purchased in the fall are a two semester commitment.
