ARAMARK Hosts Fully Sustainable Management Meeting in Stowe, Vermont.

This June, ARAMARK’s entire Northeast management team of 175 gathered for an inspirational region-wide meeting at the Stowe Mountain Lodge, in picturesque Stowe, Vermont. Since sustainability was the underlying theme, Stowe Mountain Lodge was the natural choice-the resort’s philosophy centers around social and environmental responsibility. Hosting the meeting at Stowe afforded our managers the opportunity to see a fully sustainable resort operating in beautiful surroundings and provided ARAMARK with an opportunity to support the local Vermont economy.

In order to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the meeting, all attendees were asked to carpool. The meeting was kept paperless, and bottled water was not permitted. Guests were requested to re-use towels and linens, and instructed on how to keep lighting and energy use to a minimum during their stay.
Buying Locally. Eating Locally.
