Faculty Associates Dining Program

Frequently asked questions about the Faculty Associates Dining Program

What is the Faculty Associates Dining Program?

In an effort to promote the All College Dining Center (ACDC) as an important intellectual and social space on campus and to increase opportunities for informal student/faculty conversation, we created the faculty associates program.  Viewed as a complement to the faculty house fellows program, the associates program will enable any faculty member to accompany one or more students to the ACDC--both faculty and students are charged just $5 for entry for "all you care to eat" breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Students on the meal plan can use a meal or pay with points, cash or v-cash.

Do I have to register in advance?

No, simply arrive at the dining hall with at least one student and show the cashier your college I.D.

Can I meet the student in the dining area?

No, to be eligible for the faculty associates reduced price you must be with one or more students when you present your I.D. to the cashier.

What if I want my spouse or partner to join us for lunch or dinner?

All family members, including children, are eligible as long as the faculty member is present.

Can I use the program in The Retreat?

No this program is limited to the ACDC

How do the students pay?

Students not on the meal plan can pay with Dining Bucks, v-cash, or cash.
