Do you have to be a student to eat in the residential restaurants at Fox Hall and Mill City?

No, everyone is welcome at all of our locations.

 

Do you have to be a resident student to have a meal plan?

No, anyone can get a campus dining membership. Memberships are convenient since they are credited to your campus ID, which means no more fumbling for your money in line.

 

What about unused money or meals on my card?

Any unused River Hawk Dollars and Block meals carry over from the fall to the spring semester. At the end of the academic year, all unused River Hawk Dollars and Block Meals are forfeited.

 
What about meals for meal plans?
Meals do not carry over.  The amount of meals associated with the meal plans is on a weekly basis.
 

How do I sign up for a campus membership?

To purchase a membership, go to any ARAMARK location on campus or the Main office at Fox Hall on the second floor.  We accept Visa or Mastercard. Please bring your ID. For the Campus Dining Debit Cards, Riverhawk Dollars and Block Meals, payment must accompany the membership form. For the residential memberships, you will be billed by the University.

 

Can meal plans be used in retail locations?

The Riverhawk dollars that come with the Campus Dining Memberships can be used at any UMass Lowell Dining Services location on campus including the Hawk's Nest Convenience Store

 

Are there options for vegans, vegetarians or others on restricted diets?

Yes, since many of our retail locations offer cooked to order foods, diners may select what is best suited for their dietary needs. Real Food at Fox and the Fresh Food Co. on UML North offer a Produce Market that includes a sauté station with fresh vegetables. There are even daily vegan or vegetarian entrees at this station We even mix our tuna and chicken salads to order, so whether you want low-fat mayo and no salt or chopped celery and onion, we can make it the way you like it.
