You can stay focused on your school work and we'll take care of the rest. Dining Memberships save you time and keep you close to friends and campus events. Now you can go anywhere without worrying about going hungry.
WHY DO I NEED A MEMBERSHIP? It makes dining on campus much simpler. There are lots of pluses:
- We offer the security of guaranteed all-you-care-to-eat meals and the flexibility of a la carte dining.
- There are many time saving services available.
- We have great food choices with lots of variety.
- There are a variety of socializing experiences with other campus residents.
- It's tax free, saving you 8% on every purchase.
WHAT ARE MY CHOICES? Club Dining Plans 2009-2010
- 200 Club Plan ($2,320/semester)
This plan includes 200 meal counts per semester, averaging 11 meals per week. Includes $700 Declining Balance dollars each semester.
- 150 Club Plan ($2,225/semester)
This plan includes 150 meal counts per semester, averaging 8 meals per week. Includes $825 Declining Balance dollars each semester.
- 100 Club Plan ($1,790/semester)
This plan includes 100 meal counts per semester, averaging 5 meals per week. Includes $800 Declining Balance dollars each semester.
- Commuter Club Plan ($450/semester)
This plan includes 25 meal counts per semester and includes $225 Declining Balance dollars each semester.
Declining Balance Plans 2009-2010
- Platinum Declining Balance Plan ($1,705/semester)
Participants receive $1,705 Declining Balance dollars each semester, averaging $100 per week.
- Gold Declining Balance Plan ($1,420/semester)
Participants receive $1,420 Declining Balance dollars each semester, averaging $80 per week.
- Silver Declining Balance Plan ($825/semester)
Participants receive $825 Declining Balance dollars each semester, averaging $45 per week.
- Bronze Declining Balance Plan ($570/semester)
Participants receive $570 Declining Balance dollars each semester, averaging $30 per week.
- Commuter Declining Balance Plan ($465/semester)
Participants receive $465 Declining Balance dollars each semester, averaging $25 per week.
ON CAMPUS CLASS REQUIREMENTS/OPTIONS River Campus Meal Plan requirements are assigned by residence hall. The minimum requirements are as follows:
- Students living in: Hoeing, Gilbert, Susan B. Anthony, Crosby, Burton, Tiernan, Lovejoy, Fairchild, Kendrick, Munro, and Slater - 150 Club Meal Plan.
- Students living in: Anderson and Wilder - 100 Club Meal Plan.
- Students living in: Chambers and Gale - Platinum Declining Plan.
- Students living in: DeKiewiet, Valentine, the Maisonettes, Riverview Apartments, CLC, Drama House, and DU - Silver Declining Plan.
Eastman School of Music Meal Plan requirements are assigned by class year. The minimum requirements are as follows:
- Freshmen: Have a minimum requirement of the 200 Club Plan for the fall semester.
- Sophomores: Have a minimum requirement of the 100 Club Plan.
- Juniors: Have a minimum requirement of the Platinum Declining Plan.
- Seniors: Have a minimum requirement of the Bronze Declining Plan.
OFF CAMPUS CLASS REQUIREMENTS/OPTIONS River Campus and Eastman School Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may select from all meal plan options but have the minimum requirement of the Commuter Declining Plan.
Terms and Conditions
Dining plans will be available during the fall semester Tuesday, August 25, 2009 - Monday, December 21, 2009; spring semester Saturday, January 9, 2010 - Sunday, May 16, 2010.
The participant will have access to his or her dining plan during that time. Fall semester contracts are automatically renewed for the spring semester unless changed or canceled during the published dining plan change period.
Dining Plan Changes
Dining Plan changes will only be accepted at the Customer Service/ ID Office in Susan B. Anthony Hall using the official Dining Plan Amendment Request. Eastman School of Music students can get a Dining Plan Amendment Request from a Manager at the Eastman Dining Center.
Use the Club Meal budgeting calendar to gauge where your club meal and declining balance usage should be throughout the semester.
The Bursar’s Office cannot process dining plan changes. Changes noted on a tuition statement are not valid and will not be processed.
Dining change period(s):
- Fall semester: 09/02/09 - 09/12/09 (there is a $25.00 modification fee for plan reductions or cancellations.)
- Open Spring Modification: 11/02/09 - 11/07/09 (free modification period.)
- Late Spring Modification: 01/13/10 - 01/20/10 (there is a $25.00 modification fee for plan reductions or cancellations.)
