Welcome to MCLA Catering, where we offer services for students as well as faculty and staff.

Planning your event well will eliminate your need to over-order food for those guests you are unsure of attending. This will save on your budget and eliminate food waste, as well.

First make your room reservation, then call or stop by to discuss your menu. Our office is located on the second floor of Murdock Hall, Room 214Kitchen. Any menu may be tailored to meet your needs. For your convenience, we have compiled some of our most frequently requested menus here. Our management team is available to customize any menu for you to make your special occasion memorable.

Once your menu has been decided and pricing has been given to you it is important that you begin the process to generate a purchase order number (PO#). No event will take place without a PO# that has been generated prior to your event. We will need an estimated number of attendees at the time of your booking.  If you are paying with credit card or check you must pay the balance the day of your evernt. A guaranteed number is required five (5) working days prior to your event. This excludes weekend and Holidays.

Depending on which is greater, billing is based on the guaranteed or actual number of guests.

If your event involves a ceremony or speaker, please inform us so that the timing of your meal is planned properly. Floral arrangements and specialty items are also available with sufficient notice at an additional cost. Bartending services are available with sufficient notice and specific guidelines at additional cost. Please inquire. Bar licenses are needed from the City of North Adams when it is a cash bar. This requires a 60 day notice to obtain. All meals and receptions within our catering guide are based on a maximum of two (2) hours of service. Service periods include not only the mealtime but also any programs or speakers. Service hours that extend beyond the two (2) hour period will require and incur additional charges. Off campus events will require and incur additional charges. For safety and well being of our clients and guests, food and beverages are not permitted to leave the premises of a catered event.
