The Little Building Dining Hall seats approximately 300 people and is the main dining location on campus.  This all-you-care-to-eat facility is designed primarily to provide students the meals included in their selected Board Plan.  Emerson strives to create a warm, friendly dining space for students and faculty with a diverse menu so that everyone has a slice of home.  

The serving area has five full-service stations: The Grill, Home Cooking - which includes everthing from rotisserie to stir-fry, the Deli, a Crowd Pleasers Station with two made-to-order features for lunch and dinner, as well as our vegetarian/vegan station, LeGrain and Legume.

In addition, the serving area provides a full, self-service Salad/Soup Bar, along with Pizza, Dessert and Fresh Bread stations.

Looking for a meal on the run?  Students are allowed to take their Dining Hall meals to go, just ask at the front counter.  We offer reusable To-Go containers to help reduce our carbon footprint on the environment.  The containers are available for sale in the Little Building C-Store for $5.00, and can only be used in the Little Building Dining Hall.  Compostable To-Go containers are available, but incur a charge of $.50 per container.  Students can return their used reusable To-Go containers to the Dining Hall in exchange for a new, clean container or a rain check to receive a clean container at a later time.  Please ask a a manager in the Dining Hall for more details or click here for a list of guidelines.

Emerson Dining Services has partnered with Planet Police to bring composting to the Dining Hall.  Trash cans opposite the tray return will be for food scraps and paper waste, and will be picked up weekly for composting in the Greater Boston area.
