Sherman Dining Hall offers traditional all-you-care-to-eat dining and features both Glatt Kosher and non-Kosher foods. Enjoy newly designed menus using the freshest ingredients cooked to order while you wait. You will also enjoy some fun festive events as well as all of your favorite stations featuring pizza, deli, grilled items and traditional fare.

Kosher Dining
Brandeis University Dining Services recognizes the needs unique to our Kosher students. That is why we have done our best to provide the same variety and menu options available to Kosher students as are available to non-Kosher students.

Kosher eXpress
The Kosher eXpress convenience store in Sherman features Pre-Made Sandwiches and Salads, Bottled Beverages including Dr. Brown's, Microwavable Soups and Meals, Chips, Candy, Snacks and much, much more.
Kosher eXpress accepts Points, Cash, WhoCash, MasterCard and Visa.

Other Kosher Options
Kosher options are also available at a variety of places on campus. Visit the P.O.D. for Kosher sandwiches, fruit, salads, and pre-packaged items.
Einstein Bros. Bagels also carries a variety of freshly-made grab-and-go sandwiches. Both the Boulevard and Usdan Cafe also carry Kosher grab-and-go sandwiches and salads.

*Our Kosher program is supervised closely by Rabbi Chayim Zirkind of Sharon, Massachusetts and Rabbi David Twersky of Brighton, Massachusetts, along with the Dining Services team, to ensure that meat and dairy items are never prepared, cooked or eaten together at the same meal. Similarly, meat and dairy products are prepared in separate, dedicated kitchens, utilizing two completely separate sets of utensils, dishes, stoves, dishwashers, and all other cookware. "Parve", or neutral items such as eggs, fruits, vegetables and fish may be served with both meat and dairy meals.
