Can I carry over my unused meals to the next week? Yes and no. Regardless of the plan you select, your unused guest meals and declining balance dollars carry over from week to week and from fall to spring semester. If you select the Flex 14 Plan, meals must be used in the week they are assigned. The 25 and 50 Block Plans do carry over unused meals from week to week. They do not carry over from fall to spring semester but Declining Balance Points will carry over from the fall to spring semester. Nothing will carry over from one academic year to the next.
Can I change my meal plan? Yes. You may change your meal plan before the end of the first week of each semester. Simply complete the meal plan change form provided in your student handbook, and return the completed form to the Student Financial Services Office.
Can I treat a friend to a meal on my plan? Yes. If you have the Unlimited or Flex 14 Plan, your plan includes 8 guest meals to be used in the Blake Dining Center. For the 25 and 50 Block Plans, you may use your block meals to treat a friend at the Blake Dining Center. All meal plans are able to use their Declining Balance Dollars to treat a friend as well.
What do I do if my DBDs run low? Simply make a deposit to your account by cash, check, money order, or credit card. You may do so at any cash register. You may also contact the Dining Services Office at (413)565-1089.
