Campus Dining takes pride in community involvement.
As part of our commitment to the Chicagoland community we participate in the MWBE, Minority and Women Business Enterprise, program. Campus Dining's support provides nationwide services to Minority and Women Businesses to educate, mentor, and help leverage their capabilities to maximize opportunites and promote sustainability. Locally, Campus Dining uses the following MWBE businesses for suppliers:

Chicago Campus Dining partners with the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) to employ local Chicagoland high school students. This opportunity allows the students to gain valuable culinary experience.
Schools involved include:
Curie Metropolitan Academy
George Collins High School
Englewood Technical Preparatory Academy
Hyde Park Academy
Tilden Career Academy
Richards Career Academy
Founded in 1990, C-CAP's mission is to promote and provide career opportunities in the culinary arts for inner-city youth through education and apprenticeship. In partnership with the public schools, business and professional cluinary organizations, C-CAP offers training, mentoring, career counseling, scholarships and job placement.
