If I don't use all of my meals in one week, do they carry over to the following week?
Meals do NOT carry over from one week to the next. It is important that you select the right plan to fit your schedule and your eating habits to ensure that you get the full value for your dollars. You have 10 days at the start of the semester to change your meal plan.
Can I change my Dining Plan?
Sure thing, because we want you to have the plan that works best for you. You can change your plan within the first 10 days of Fall and Winter semester in the Housing office or in the Dining Services office.
What happens to my unused Declining Balance Dollars at the end of the semester?
Your unused dollars transfer from the fall to the winter semester. At the end of the winter semester, any unused dollars are forfeited.
Can I treat my friend by using two "meals" in a meal period?
No. The weekly meal plans of 19, 13 or 10 a week are designed for student residents. However, students may use their Declining Balance Dollars to treat a friend to a meal at any time. The 20, 30, 40 or 50 meal block plans are able to be used to treat guests to dine with you.
What do I do if my Declining Balance Dollars run low?
Each time you purchase a snack or a full meal, your receipt will indicate your balance of Declining Balance Dollars you have remaining. If your dollars run low, you can add Declining Balance Dollars to your account using cash, check, money order or credit card at any Dining Service register or in C122
What if I lose my Dining/ID Card?
Lost cards must be reported immediately to the Dining Services Office by calling 989-964-4252. You can obtain a temporary card in C122. |
