We realize it's stressful on both the student and family member to be separated during special times of the year. That's why we've developed a special program that you can send gifts to your student to reflect big things in their lives--like their birthday, Final Exams and any other special occasion. Our gift baskets, birthday cakes and DB gifts (money added to their meal plan account they can spend at the on-campus Subway, Noble Roman's or Java City) are a great way to deliver an encouraging word, a good luck on finals or simply say, "I miss you".

How the Program Works
After you place your order we’ll prepare your special gift. Your loved one will be notified via email to pick up their “surprise” from the dining services office. If you've purchased additional DB, we'll simply add the DB to their account and send them an email letting your student know about your thoughtfulness and making sure they know how and where their additional DB may be used.
Birthday Cake - Surprise your son or daughter with a birthday cake. You get to choose the cake and card message and our talented bakers will make a special two layer 9” cake for the occasion. We’ll put it in a cake box and add plates, knife, forks and napkins to complete the event! We’ll send your son or daughter an email telling them their “surprise” is ready to pick up. All orders must be placed at least 2 days prior to the requested pick-up date.

Finals Week Survival Packs - You know what students crave when they’re studying hard for finals? FOOD! We have the solution in our Finals Week Survival Packs. The deadline to order a Finals Snack Pack is November 13th for the first quarter, February 19th for the second quarter and May 21st for the third quarter.
Each pack is filled with:
- One turkey bacon croissant sandwich
- A dozen Otis Spunkmeyer freshly baked chocolate chip cookies
- Fresh Fruit
- One candy bar
- One bottled water and one can of Pepsi
- Chips
- Condiments and napkins
Your son’s or daughter’s Survival Pack will be ready for pick up on the Sunday afternoon before each quarter’s finals week. He or she will get an email telling them to be sure to pick up their “surprise” that afternoon. Each quarter's Final's Week Survival Pack is only $12.95, or you may purchase all three quarters' Packs for just $35.00.
Additional DB for Subway, Noble Roman's or Java City - All our meal plans include some DB (that stands for Declining Balance and it works like cash at our on-campus retail locations), but the DB that is included with the meal plans isn't a lot and is designed for odds and ends purchases over the course of the year. If your son or daughter is a fan of Subway sandwiches and loves the taste of freshly made to order sandwiches on freshly baked breads or if he or she loves great tasting pizza from Noble Roman's with the best breadsticks in town, the DB that is included with their meal plans will need to be supplemented. You can add on any amount of additional DB to their meal plan account, and that DB is good for the entire year and can be used in Subway for great sandwiches, in Noble Roman's for great pizzas, at Java City for great coffees and specialy drinks or at the C-3 convenience store for batteries, laundry soap or soup.
Additional DB purchases of $100 or more include a 10% bonus money add-on. So, if you purchased $200 in DB we'd add $220 in DB to your student's account.
