How do they work?
Meal plans are geared specifically to make your life easier. A magnetic stripe on the back of your student ID card works with our computer system to identify you as a meal plan member. Our meal plans are easy, economical and designed to meet the needs of your busy campus lifestyle.

Declining balance plans work on the same principle as a bank debit card. Each time you make a food purchase at one of our locations, the total cost of your meal is subtracted from the dollar balance on your account. As your balance runs low, simply add more money. It is as simple as that.

Are you a Commuter? You've got Inclining Balance!
Inclining balance, an option for our commuter customers, gives you the ultimate in freedom.  It's automatically on your card.  Your ID card becomes a credit card that you can use for food purchases. Once a month, your total charges are billed to your University account. Use as much or as little as you want.

Regular Aladine Residents or Commuters. This plan is for those who have a moderate appetite. Students on this plan may dine frequently on campus, but will spend wisely when it comes to extras such as pizza delivery and the convenience store. $1370 DBD - Four

Lite Aladine Residents or Commuters. Like all the other Aladine plans, Lite Aladine still gives you the ability to use your declining balance dollars at any Campus Dining location. However, due to the lower amount of money available to spend, Lite Aladine is the perfect plan for those with smaller appetites of for those who spend most of their weekends off campus. $1200 DBD - Four

Inclining Balance Commuters Only. This plan is the ultimate when it comes to convenient dining, and now it is even more convenient.  All commuters will now automatically be enrolled in the inclining plan.  Once on the plan, your Bearcat card works like a credit card allowing you to accumulate charges throughout the month for purchases. Charges are then billed to your University account. No limits, spend as
much as you want. 		 
       
Commuter Meal Plan Commuters Only. Need help budgeting or want to pre-pay, commuters can opt out of the inclining plan and decline instead.  Gives you $325 in declining balance dollars to spend throughout the trimester. A bonus of this plan is that once you sign up, all your purchases become tax exempt. $325 per trimester $325.00
       
$325 Apartment Basic Apartment Residents Only. One of three plans designed exclusively for residents of Forest Village. This plan offers a small amount of declining balance dollars per trimester. $325 per trimester $325.00
       
$650 Apartment Deluxe Apartment Residents Only. One of three plans designed exclusively for residents of Forest Village. This plan slightly smaller amount of declining balance dollars than traditional Aladine plans. $650 per trimester $650.00
       
Apartment Inclining Apartment Residents Only.One of three plans designed exclusively for residents of Forest Village. The only inclining option for residents. Chargesare accummulated throughthe month, and then billedto your University account. Unlimited Unlimited
       
$25 Increments Commuter or Residents. Commuters who can’t use the full plan can choose this option. Dollars in any $25 increment can be added to your card throughout the trimester. Sales tax is applied to each increment. Residents can use this option once funds on their Aladine plan run low to keep enjoying all the Campus Dining options. Any increment of $25
