All funds and plans purchased for use in Northern State Univeristy Dining Serivces are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable.  The Northern State University Dining Services funds and plans cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate.
Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all Northern State University Dining Services funds and plans are non-refundable and will expire at the earlier of the last day of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or the last day of the current semester.
Meal Plan Flex and Add-on Flex Dollar funds are non-refundable.
Unused Meal Plan Flex Dollar balances expire at 5:00 P.M. the last day of Spring Semester.
Add-on Flex Dollar balances remain on the account until used or expire after one year of inactivity.

Can I change my meal plan?
Yes.  For one week at the start of each semester you can change you plan simply by going to the Student Affairs Office (rm 222) in the Student Center and completing a Meal Plan Change Form.

Can I carry over my unused meals to the next semester?
If you have a meal plan, you have a certain number of meals to use any way you like throughout the semester.  Any unused meals are cleared at the end of each semester.  Unused Meal Plan Flex Dollars carry over from fall to spring.

What happens to my unused Meal Plan Flex Dollars at the end of the semester? 
If the semester ending is the Fall term, your Meal Plan Flex Dollars carry over to the Spring term. If the semester ending is the Spring term, your unused Meal Plan Flex Dollars is forfeited.

Can I treat my friend or colleague to a meal on my plan?
Yes!  You can use all-you-care-to-eat meals, Meal Plan Flex Dollars or Flex Dollars to treat a friend or colleague to a meal at the Wolves Den.  Meal Plan Flex Dollars or Flex Dollars can be used for purchases at Einstein Bros Bagels or Northern Express Convenience Store (Jerde Hall).

What do I do if my Flex Dollars run low? 
 Put more money on your card. You can do this in one of three ways: One, use the Meal Plan link to add Flex Dollars using a credit card; or, Two, come in to the Dining Services office (Graham Hall, #2) and put Flex Dollars on, using a credit card or cash; or, Three, with the cashier at the Wolves Den or Einstein Bros Bagel using cash or credit card.

 What if I lose my Dining/ID Card?
You need to go to the Finance Office in the Administration Building and purchase a replacement.
