Meal Plans Dining Services works in conjunction with Residence Life and the Campus Card Office to provide access to meal plans for students living in on-campus residence halls. When a student signs a housing contract, he/she indicates a particular meal plan. Students may choose the plan that best fits their needs. The meal allowance gives a student the opportunity to enjoy all-you-care-to-eat dining all day in the specified dining locations.
Flex Dollars All-Access and Traditonal Meal Plans offer Flex Dollars, which provide students with the ability to purchase from any Loyola University Chicago dining location including the on-campus convenience stores (Center Stage, Connections Cafe, South Side Market, and Union Station) and Water Tower Campus locations (Nina's Cafe, Terry Food Court). Students have the opportunity within the first week of each academic semester to edit their meal plan selection. Students may make changes to their meal plans within the timeframe specified by the Campus Card Office. JUNIOR & SENIOR DECLINING BALANCE PLANS Declining Balance can be used at all dining locations and it rolls over from semester to semester, but not year to year.

COMMUTER MEAL BLOCK PLANS Meal block plans are designed for non-resident commuter students.

For the 2013-14 School Year Only, Sophomores have the option of 1 of the All-Access Plans OR the Gold or Silver Traditional Plans. After 2013-14, All Freshmen and Sophomores will be required to be on 1 of the All-Access Plans.
Dining Hall Guest Rates
Door rates are available for guests of students, faculty, and staff members of the University Community who wish to utilize the services and make purchases at any of the Dining Halls operated by Dining Services. These rates do not apply to Meal Plans.
Breakfast $ 6.75 Brunch/Lunch $ 8.25 Dinner $ 9.00
Terms and Conditions All funds and plans purchased for use in LUC Dining are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. The LUC Dining funds and plans cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate. Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all LUC Dining funds and plans are non-refundable and will expire at the earlier of the last day of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or the last day of the current semester.
Block/Meal Plans and Declining Balance funds are non-refundable. Unused block meals and declining balance expire at the end of Spring semester. |
