Weekly Meal Allowance This meal allowance is offered in various dining membership selections and is designed for students who will be living on or near campus during the academic year. The meal allowance gives you the opportunity to enjoy all you care to eat dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner in RFoC at Hoke Center. You receive a varying number of guaranteed meals per week each term. Each time you eat in the dining hall, one meal is subtracted from your weekly meal balance. You may choose the number of meals based on your desired eating habits and academic schedule. Meal weeks run from Monday brunch through Sunday dinner. Plans may be changed in the first two weeks of each term. Meals do not carry over from week to week and re-set each Monday brunch.
Declining Balance Dollars (DB) or Flex Funds (Flex) All of the dining membership choices offer Declining Balance dollars (DB) or Flex Funds (Flex) which are accepted like cash at Mac’s Grill, for catering purchases and for additional or guest meals at RFoC in Hoke Center. It works on the same principle as an ATM or debit card. You can draw from your DB or Flex for beverages, snacks or full meals for you and your friends at any time. Whenever you buy a meal on campus, the total amount of your purchase is subtracted from your dining membership dollars and you can add additional DB to your card at any time.
