ASU Dining and ASU Grounds Services have paired up to create the Campus Harvest program that allows students to help harvest goods grown on campus grounds to be then used in the dining facilities all over campus.

ASU Campus Harvest goods:
Dates- Many varieties

Season: Year-round upkeep and late Summer/Fall harvest
Harvest Location: Primarily the Polytechnic Campus, some on the Tempe Campus
What we use them in: Deserts such as our signature date & oat bars as well as in main courses such as Moroccan date couscous.
Citrus- Mainly Seville Oranges
Season: Spring harvest
Harvest location: All over the Tempe Campus
What we use them in: "Devilade" (like lemonade, but with Sevilles), Seville orange julius', Seville orange marinades and vinaigrettes
Herbs- Many varieties
Season: Yesr-round for different herbs
Harvest location: Herb garden next to Student Services building and the "Secret Garden"; also another garden location pending for dining hall use
What we use them in: Freshly seasoned dishes using the garlic chives, peppers, rosemary, thyme, basil, etc. Also some produce found in the herb garden.
Seville Orange Harvests!
There are several Seville orange harvests scheduled over the next few months and you are more than welcome to stop by to help pick (even when a private group) and perhaps sample some of these often misundertood citrus fruits. January 13th: Palo Verde West Res Life, 1:30-4:30pm, Location: Frat fields/around the tennis courts (off of rural, South of University)

February 21st: Private group, 9:30am-12:30pm. Meeting at Herb garden next to Student Services then picking trees around the Student Services lawn and down Cady Mall.
