Developed exclusively to meet the growing number of Gluten Free and lactose intolerant customers, William and Mary Dining created Outside of the Box and dedicated Chef Arnie as the Special Diet and Allergen Chef. 

Since opening in the fall of 2011 Chef Arnie has served over 2,000 meals from this station.  Outside of the Box is not only receiving rave reviews from William and Mary students but ARAMARK and our other lines of business as well are taking note of this stand alone station as a best practice for its core menu of great tasting entrees; prepared and served in allergen-free environments. 

Refreshed this Fall William and Mary customers can choose daily from a menu of Braised Beef Brisket with Potatoes and Vegetables, Chicken Curry, Macaroni and Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Teriyaki Chicken Stir-Fry all GLUTEN FREE!

Outside the Box is located in The Commons, Sadler Center RFoC , and the Marketplace Cafe
