W&M Express
Your W&M Express Account is placed on your College ID Card. The Account works like an electronic checking account. Your identification number is encoded on a magnetic strip located on the back of your College ID Card. Whenever you make a purchase, your card is put through an electronic card reader and the purchase amount is automatically deducted from the balance in your pre-paid account. The cashier ends each transaction by checking your balance for you; giving you plenty of time to deposit more funs when your account is running low. At any time during the semester, you may add more money to your account ($20.00 minimum).

What is the difference between Dining Flex Points and W&M Express:
Q: What are Flex Points and how can they be used?
A: Meal Plan Flex Points allow you to supplement your meal plan by providing you non-taxable, discretionary spending money for use at all dining locations at any time. Flex Points are for use at W&M Dining locations and student catering. If you run low on Flex Points during the semester, we encourage you to purchase additional Flex Points by clicking here. Only meal plan holders can add to their Flex Points. If you don't have a meal plan, you may purchase W&M Express Dollars to use in Dining Services location.
Q: What are the advantages to having a W&M Express Account?
A: The W&M Express account is great for students, faculty and staff that don't have a meal plan. It provides the flexibility and convenience of a debit card to use at on-campus dining facilities. You don't need to carry cash or visit an ATM every time you need lunch or snack money. Simply open a W&M Express Account with as little as $20.00 at the ID Office in the Campus Center or click here for a mail in or fax form.
