DINING DICTIONARY |
| Block Plan |
Blocks are dining center "swipes" used primarily at Shafer Court Dining Center or to purchase a meal combo through the Meal Exchange program. Each Block equals one dining plan swipe. Blocks do not carry between semesters. |
| Dining Dollars |
Dining Dollars work like a pre-paid debit card that allows for food purchases at Shafer Court Dining Center or any VCU retail dining location. |
| Dining Center |
This exciting location, offering unlimited servings, has redefined campus dining with its marketplace-style "mini-restaurants" that dish out great tasting food with individual attention. Market 810 located on the second floor of Shafer Court Dining Center. | |
Retail Locations: Retail locations accept Dining Dollars, RamBucks, cash, and credit/debit cards with the exception of Wendy's, which accepts cash and credit cards only.
The retail locations are:
• Einstein Bros. Bagels located on the first level of the Shafer Court Dining Center
• Commons Café, Park Place Food Court and Commons Convenience located in the University Student Commons
• Starbucks® Coffee located in the James Branch Cabell Library
• C-store located on the first floor in Grace E. Harris Hall
• Bleecker Street Café located in the School of Business – Snead Hall
• Chili’s, Starbucks® Coffee and the Cary Street Market & Deli located in the Cary & Belvidere Residential College at the corner of Belvidere and Cary streets
• Einstein Bros. Bagels and Wendy's® located in the Gateway Building on the MCV Campus
• Hideaway Café located in Hunton Student Center on the MCV Campus
• Jonah’s, a culinary emporium and Starbucks Coffee in Larrick Student Center
•Croutons, Salad & Wraps located at Laurel & Grace Place
•IHOP Express located at Laurel & Grace Place
•Raising Cane's located at Laurel & Grace Place |

* Dining plan purchases and changes may be made at the Dining Services office, 1111 W. Broad Street, Suite 128. Changes to the block plans will be accepted until:
September 6, 2013 - fall
January 24, 2014 - spring
* Block plans are for the use of the dining contract participant only and are non-transferable.
* Unused block meals and Dining Dollars do not carry over and are forfeited at the end of each semester.
The following block plans have twenty (20) guest meals incorporated into the plan:

The 50 block plan has ten (10) guest meals incorporated into the plan. Unused meals will not carry over to the following semester.
