Dining Plans  

  

Incoming First-Year students: You are automatically defaulted to the All Access 7 Plan if you did not make a choice of plan prior to July 3. If you need to upgrade to the Ultimate Access Plan, please submit the online change request form below. Do not order another plan, as that may result in duplicate charges.

At U.Va., meal plans are convenient, delicious, flexible, and loaded with options. Meal Plan membership provides more than 25 dining options across Grounds with hours from 7:00 am to as late as 2:00 am. With meal swipes and Plus Dollars to access all these services, you get guaranteed value, whether you eat on-Grounds three times a week or three times a day! To Purchase a Meal Plan or Add Plus Dollars

1) Click "Login/Create Account." You can create a new account using the email address and password of your choice
2) Add your address under "Manage Addresses."
3) Select the meal plan you wish to purchase.
4) Make sure you enter the student's 9-digit UVA ID number to complete the order. This number is found on UVA ID cards. First years and transfers, you can obtain your UVA ID number at: http://whois.virginia.edu/uid/.


To Change Your Meal Plan
Note: The downgrade and cancellation period for Fall Semester 2014 is September 2nd and Spring Semester is December 5th through January 19th, 2015. These dates are clearly stated in the terms and conditions. You may upgrade your meal plan at any time.
1) To UPGRADE your meal plan, open the Dining Plan Change Request Form.
2) Fill out the required fields and submit your upgrade request.
3) You will receive a confirmation email that your request has gone through.


To Check Your Plus Dollar Balance 
1) Log in to Cavalier Advantage.
2) Your Plus Dollars and any Additional Plus Dollars balances you have added to your plan will show up in the center box under "Account."

Know what's included in your meal plan...

Swipes
Use a meal swipe for all-you-care-to-eat meals at residential dining rooms on Grounds: O'Hill Dining Room, Fresh Food Company at Newcomb Hall & Runk Dining Room.

Plus Dollars
You can spend Plus Dollars at on-Grounds cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. You can add additional Plus Dollars anytime.

Meal Exchange
Meal Exchange means you can use a swipe for a specific Meal Exchange Combo at select retail locations on Grounds.

To Go
This option allows you to take a To Go meal from any of our dining rooms if your schedule does not allow you time to have a sit down meal.

Guest Meals
Guest Meals allow you to treat friends and family to a meal in the dining room. Each meal plan comes with a specific number of guest meals.
