The Student Employee Program is a unique work experience for the students at Longwood University. The Student Program is almost entirely run by the students supporting the Longwood Dining Services daily operations. Beginning each year with over two hundred new students to train, the Student Program is a great opportunity for ARAMARK to help Longwood University achieve its goal of building Citizen Leaders for today as well as tomorrow. Students are able to learn important job and social skills through the interaction with coworkers and customers. Students are able to move up in position and acquire new job skills of supervision and office work. The students also have an opportunity for reward for putting forward great effort and going above and beyond the call of duty. The Student Employee Program has become a blueprint for other colleges and universities to model themselves after and has become known as one of the strongest in ARAMARK’s brand new Mid-Atlantic Region.
