Dining Dollars Countdown for Fall 2008


Dining Dollars
Use to buy food and beverages in all campus dining locations, including convenience stores, some vending machines and concessions with card reader access.

Food and beverages are tax exempt, an 11% savings.

Works like a bank debit card; each time you make a purchase the total is subtracted from the balance in your account.

If Dining Dollars run low, you can make a deposit to your account.  Just go to Card Services in Warren Hall or www.jmu.edu/cardctr. To differentiate added funds from your original Dining Dollars, we call them Dining Dollars GOLD.  Click here for more information.

Unused Dining Dollars transfer from fall to spring semester, but unused dollars at the end of spring semester are not refundable and do not carry over to the next academic year.  Dining Dollars GOLD carry over from year to year.

Tips for using Dining Dollars
Don't save your Dining Dollars for the last minute!  Use them all during the semester to:

• Quiet those late-night hunger pangs at East Campus Library Java City, Dog Pound or Quiznos.
• Treat yourself and your friends to a platter of treats from Chick-fil-A or Einstein Bros Bagels.
• Ease the stress with a relaxing meal at Madison Grill.
• Take advantage of online ordering at Madison Grill or Dog Pound.
• Enjoy smoothies, gourmet coffee, and great specials at Market One, PC Dukes, The Festival, Corner Bistro and Top Dog Cafe.
• Take a study break at Java City in the brand new East Campus Library.
• Purchase snacks and bottled beverages at Mr. Chips and C-Store East.
