What will I need to place an order online? You will need a credit card (Visa, MasterCard) to pay for your purchase. You will also need to know your gift recipient's school address, including their phone number. You will need to enter this address in the 'My Account' 'Manage Addresses' section in addition to the billing address of your credit card.
In addition, our software only supports Internet Explorer, Opera, and Firefox when using a Macintosh computer. Safari is not a supported browser.
Is shopping online with CareGrams secure? Absolutely! We use a 128 bit encryption and the latest in technology to protect your personal information. We are 100% compliant with the SOX and PCI industry standards for credit card security.
How will my student receive their CareGram? All CareGrams are for pick up only. Your gift recipient will be notified that they have a package for pick up at Gibbons Hall. We require a 5 day notice on all Gift orders. Weekends and Holidays we are not open for pickup. If you select Weekends or Holidays as your pickup day, your gift will be scheduled for pickup on the next available pickup day.
I would like to include a personalized message on a cake, what should I do? On the website, to include a cake inscription, please make sure to click on the picture of the item as instructed on the shopping site. You will then be able to record your cake inscription, up to 25 characters, in the comment box appearing on the right hand side of the page. The cake inscription will be sent directly to us on completion of the checkout process, and it will be written in icing on the cake. If you have forgotten to include a cake inscription and would like to, please contact us with your gift order number so that we can reference your order and we will be happy to assist you. Step by step example for the “Round cake: chocolate cake white icing”;
- Log in (or create a new account)
- Click on the “CareGrams” link in the navigation bar
- On the CareGrams Gifts page click the “click to purchase now” button
- Find your product by browsing the categories.
- In our example click the “Decorated Cakes” category image or the link below the category image, or the category name itself.
- Next for our example click the “Round” category image or the link below the category image, or the category name itself
- You will now see a list of all the products in this category.
- Click the “Round cake: chocolate cake white icing” product image or the “view details” link below the product image or the “Round cake: chocolate cake white icing” name of the product itself.
- On the product details page on the right of the screen you can change the quantity and add the comment you would like for this product.
- When you have finished your comment click “Add item to cart”
Why do I need to create an account? In order for you to make a purchase and to check on your order status, you will need to create an account prior to making a purchase. To create an account, click the 'LOGIN/CREATE ACCOUNT' button located on the upper right- hand side of the website. Then on the login page, click the 'Create a new account' link. You can set up your account with the email address and password of your choice.
How do I place an order online?
It's easy...Just follow these simple steps.
1. Login or create an account by clicking on the login button located on the upper right side of the website. 2. Add the billing address of your credit card to the 'My Account' 'Manage Addresses' section. This will be your billing address. 3. Add your gift recipient's name, school address and phone number to the 'My Account' 'Manage Addresses' section. This will be your gift recipient's address, which will then appear as a drop down choice in the 'Recipient Information' screen of the shopping site. 4. Use any of the 'Click to Purchase Now' links located on the CareGrams main page to go to the shopping site and start shopping. 5. Follow the instructions on each page of the shopping site to complete your order and checkout.
I forgot my password, what do I do now? Click the 'login/create account' button, and then on the login page, click the 'Forgot Password' link. On the following page enter your email address to have a new password emailed to you. Please be sure to check your spam or junkmail folder for the password reset email.
My account is locked, how do I unlock it? Click the 'login/create account' button, and then on the login page, click the 'Forgot Password' link. On the following page enter your email address to have a new password emailed to you. This will also unlock your account.
Why am I getting an error message on the checkout page? If you receive an error on the checkout page, please check the following: Did you select a type of payment? Did you use the correct credit card number? Is your credit card expired? Is the address you selected as the billing address the same as the credit card's billing address?
Is the CVV code from the back of your card correct? If a debit card, do you have enough available balance on your card?
