Hampden-Sydney College Dining Services knows that the campus community is the reason we are in business. The Marketing team and H-SC Dining team conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research to help us better understand the community needs. What is unique about our research is that is not a "one size fits all" singular survey process. In the spirit of customer service and meeting your needs and expectations, we take every opportunity to hear about your dining experience. We offer many outlets for your voice to be heard and encourage you to participate in some or all of the feedback opportunities we offer. We have designed a program around the campus needs and know that the rest is up to us in terms of quality product, price/value and most importantly customer service.

DiningStyles Surveys:

Surveys are conducted each semester to better understand your campus lifestyle and preferences. By sharing your thoughts, we will gain valuable insight to help improve your overall campus dining experience. Entries are kept confidential. Surveys are released every October and March. Information gathered from the DiningStyles survey is collected, analyzed and any improvements that can be made better to meet the needs of the community will be implemented as quickly as possible. Changes made will be posted on the What's New section of the our homepage.


Manager Conversation: Don't be a Stranger! Every dining facility on campus has a manager who is eager to talk with you personally and can address many of your questions one-on-one.

Residential Focus Groups:

During each semester, we will host group sessions in Residence Halls to collect your input from a campus resident perspective. It's worth the time. Not only does your voice get to be heard, but we bring cookies and treats to the meeting. 


Student Government:

We work closely with the Student Government to obtain feedback and better our services. We encourage you to communicate with them so they may address your needs with us.


Comment Cards:

Your candid feedback is important to us.  A comment board is located by the dish room in Pannill Commons.  Please take the time to provide feedback and/or suggestions.  A member of the H-SC Dining team will respond to your comments and post them on the board.  We encourage you to make H-SC Dining all you need it to be.
