New restaurants spice up food court

Two new faces in the Fountain Food Court are showing themselves off to Eastern students: Zoca, a Mexican-style restaurant, and Energy Zone, which offers more health-oriented fare.
"Zoca is a branded food concept from Aramark," said Charlie Brubeck, director of operations for EKU Dining Services. "We switched because of that."
Brubeck said Zoca's offers an expanded menu compared with Izzi's.
The menu offers chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian tacos. Other options include loaded nachos [. . .], quesadillas [. . .] and taco salad [. . .]
"We (Aramark) did it for the school," Brubeck said. "The school didn't have to pay for it."
These two new food additions are also the last for the downstairs dining services. Dining Services will now move to upstairs Powell to begin renovations in the summer.
