Who can purchase a Voluntary Meal Plan?

Metropolitan Hall Juniors/Seniors - These students are not required to be on a meal plan. However, because they live on campus, it is highly recommended that they consider the purchase of one of the mandatory meal plan options. The combination of Meals and Dining Dollars offered with the Unlimited meal plans provide superb convenience and flexibility for students living in Metropolitan Hall.

Off-Campus Residents - These are typically students that live off campus, within walking distance of campus. Some off campus residents that spend a lot of time on campus will find that a smaller, traditional meal plan option best meets their dining needs. Others prefer one of the Block plan options - 105 Block or 75 Block - that offer a higher balance of Meals to use for lunch or dinner while on campus. Block plans also included a generous balance of Dining Dollars to use at all other dining locations on campus.

Traditional Commuters - Traditional commuter students will find that our voluntary meal plans provide a variety of options to meet their individual needs. The best way for commuter students to determine which meal plan will best suit their needs is to figure out where, and how often they prefer to dine while on campus. A commuter student that enjoys the value of the Pride Cafe may choose one of our Block plans. Others looking for a meal plan to supplement their on campus dining needs may select one of our brand new All Dining Dollar (A.D.D.) plans.

Graduate/University College and other Non-Traditional Students - These students have unique and varying schedules similar to a traditional commuter student. While many of these students may not dine on campus as frequently as other voluntary students, the 500 A.D.D. and 25 Block plans may provide the perfect balance of Meals and Dining Dollars in those instances when they choose to.
