Required Meal Plans
Who is required to be on a meal plan?Any student that lives in a residence hall is required to be on a traditional meal plan while living on campus. This includes any freshman or sophomore that may live in Metropolitan Hall.Here are some additional specfics around the meal plans available to students depending on their campus status:Incoming freshman are defaulted to the Gold Unlimited meal plan and have the option of upgrading to the Platinum Unlimited meal plan. This is true for the Fall and Spring semester, but at minimum, the freshmen resident students will be provided a Gold Unlimited meal plan.Sophomore students are defaulted to the Silver Unlimited meal plan and have the option of upgrading to the Gold Unlimited or the Platinum Unlimited meal plans. This is true for the Fall and Spring semester, but at minimum, will be provided the Silver Platinum meal plan.Junior and Senior students - not in Metro Hall - are defaulted to the 180 Block plan. This provides the upper-classmen students with the greatest flexibility to work around their busy schedules.
