Students living on campus will be asked to select one of the four Plans A, B, C, or D, depending on your dorm location. These plans zero-out at the end of each semester. Commuter students can select any one of these plans or a declining Dollars Only plan. The magnetic stripe on your student ID card electronically identifies you as a Dining Member, and lets you use your account.
Meal Allowances:
- Are Used for Meals in the McNelis Dining Hall only.
- Enjoy all-you-care-to-eat meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.
- Receive a set number of meals per semester or per week. Each time you eat, one meal is deducted from your account.
Declining Balance Dollars:
- Can be used at both the McNelis Dining Hall and the Spartan Grille.
- Additonal dollars can be added anytime when you're running low.
- Each time you make a purchase, the total is deducted; you can check your balance every time you use your card.
Semester Plans (great for commuters who are on the go):
- Plan A gives you the minimum amount of meal coverage with 50 meal allowances per semester (that, comes out to roughly 3.5 meals per week) plus an additional $75.00 in Declining Balance dollars.
- Plan B gives you a little more with 75 meal allowances (roughly 5.3 meals) plus an additional $260 in DB Dollars.
Weekly Plans (best for students living on campus)
- Plan C gives you 15 meals per week plus an additional $50 DBD per semester.
- Plan D gives you the best value with 19 all-you-care-to-eat meals served weekly.
Flex Dollars-Additional DB Dollars, called "Flex Dollars", can be added to any of the above plans throughout the year, so you don't need to worry about missing meals.
Declining Dollar Only Plans:
- Offering flexibility to commuter students to mix meals any way you need them. (These accounts will zero-out at the end of the school year.)
- The platinum plan gives you $525 DB Dollars for a $500 payment
- The Gold Plan gives you $420 DB Dollars for a $400 payment
- The Silver Plan gives you $315 DB Dollars for a $300 payment.
