Penn Dining & the Community

How can you help Penn Dining help the community?

Penn Dining is involved in many charitable efforts all year long including running a weekly soup kitchen in Falk Dining Commons. There are several ways that you can get involved and help us help others.

South Street Bridge Closure between the fall of 2008 and fall of 2010

The closing of the Bridge for reconstruction will have a considerable impact on accessing the University and Health System, and potentially lead to increased traffic congestion on and around campus. A website has been developed (www.publicsafety.upenn.edu/ssbridge) which provides information about the project and includes recommended maps, routes and detours for those traveling to campus by automobile, as well as useful information on alternative modes of transportation.

Hillel/UCHC Meals for the Hungry Program
Penn Dining is involved with the
Hillel/UCHC Meals for the Hungry Program by running a Soup Kitchen in Falk Dining Commons every Sunday. If you would like to volunteer to help in this soup kitchen, contact Emily Kauvar.
