Summer Meal Plan

The Summer 2009 Meal Plan program runs from Saturday, May 30th through Friday, August 7th.

Meal Plan weeks run Saturday- Friday.  Please note that Meals do not carry over from week to week; meals expire each Friday.


We have a summer meal plan just for you!
Summer meal plans are purchased by the week.  We have ten weeks in the summer session and you can purchase a meal plan for just one week or for all ten!  We offer a 19, 14 and 10 meal plan.  You can easily purchase your meal plan on our secure website with your credit card. 

The prices below are effective for the Summer 2009 Semester. The week runs from Saturday to Friday. Saturday morning starts a new week.  Please
contact our dining office if you have any questions.

19 Meal Plan
$211 per week
This plan will allow you to eat 19 meals per week.

14 Meal Plan
$167 per week
This plan will allow you to eat 14 meals per week.

10 Meal Plan
$125 per week
This plan will allow you to eat 10 meals per week.

How do I sign up?
It's easy.  Purchase your weekly meal plan right on our website.  You will need your University GOCard card number (if you were not issued a GOCard, you will be promoted to enter a code), a Visa, American Express, MasterCard or Discover to pay for the purchase, and your credit card billing address. 
You will need to Login or Create a new account in order to make a purchase on the website.  The Login/Create Account button is located on the upper right hand side of our website.

NOTE: Please allow two business days for us to process your Summer Meal Plan requests.

Monday- Sunday:

Breakfast: 7:00am- 9:30am

Lunch: 11am- 1:30pm

Dinner: 5pm- 7pm

*Hours are subject to change (open earlier/close later) based on the needs of our summer conference guests.

Breakfast- $8.95
Lunch- $10.80
Dinner- $12.85
*Plus 10% DC tax

Refunds and Other Policies:
Meal Plan weeks run Saturday- Friday.  Please note that Meals do not carry over from week to week; meals expire each Friday.

 

Refunds must be requested by the Thursday at midnight prior to the Meal Plan's activation date. Refunds must be requested through email; please contact Josetta Moore at jm652@georgetown.edu or by phone at (202) 687-5379.

Customers must purchase a Meal Plan three business days prior to the Plan's week beginning.

 

A $10 fee will be charged to re-issue lost Meal Cards.


FAQs

Q: How do I place an order?
A:

  • Login, If you do not yet have a login click the login button then click “create new account” using the email address & password of your choice.
  • If you have not already, add your credit card billing address under “My Account” “Manage Addresses.”
  • Select Meal Plan you wish to purchase and add it to your cart. Continue to follow the directions on each page of the checkout process.


Q: How do I create an account?
A: Click the “Login” button, and then on the login page click the “create a new account” link.


Q: I forgot my password, what do I do now?
A: Click the “Login” button, and then on the login page click the “Forgot Password” link. On the following page enter your email address to have a new password emailed to you.


Q: My account is locked, how do I unlock it?
A: Click the “Login” button, and then on the login page click the “Forgot Password” link. On the following page enter your email address to have a new password emailed to you. This will also unlock your account.


Q: When I try to place an online order it says that the URL is too long, is your site broken?

A: This error occurs for Apple / Macintosh users of the Safari web browser.  We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. At this time our eCommerce has been tested to work with Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera on both the PC and Apple operating systems.

 



Q: My pre-paid credit card does not have a billing address. Can I use it on this site?

A: You must first call, or visit the website, of the pre-paid credit card company to register a billing address for the credit card so that you can use it for online shopping sites that validate a billing address. Our site always validates a  billing address.


Q: Why am I getting an error on the payment page?
A:

  • Did you enter in the correct credit card card number?
  • Is the address you selected as the billing address the same as the credit card’s billing address?
  • Is the expiration date correct, and not in the past?
  • Is the CVV code from the back of your card correct?
  • Do you have enough available balance on your card?


Q. My connection timed out, or I saw an error when I was finishing checkout (on the payment page). How do I know if I placed the order successfully?

A. Log in with the same account you were using the originally place the order.

View your shopping cart, if the product is no longer in your cart you could have completed the order successfully. Check the "My Account" "Order History" area. This area stores a copy of all the orders you have placed (and their order status).

You may also check your email, we email a confirmation of each order placed to the email address that is your username. (Please make sure to check your Junk or Spam boxes as the emails may be held in there).

If you really want to be sure you can check with your bank or credit card provider. We charge your credit card at the time the order is placed, so your bank or credit card provider should have held, or 'pending sale', our request from your total available balance. Although we request the money from your bank or credit card provider as soon as you place the order the bank or credit card processor may take a few days to clear it and post it to your account.

 


Q: Who do I contact to check on the status of my order?
A: Login, and go to “My Account” Order History”.  On the Order History page you can view any of your previous orders by clicking on the order number. If the information there does not answer your question please contact the campus dining office. See the Contact Us page.


Q: What is the difference between a "meal card" and a "GOCard"?
A: A GOCard is a University ID Card that Georgetown University students have. A meal card is an alternative to a GOCard for individuals visiting campus for the summer; think of it as a "temporary GOCard". Meal cards will work just like GOCards- meal plans will be loaded onto these cards and are used just like debit cards, making it convenient for customers visit the dining hall.


Q:  What do I enter into the "On Campus For" field on Step 2, Recipient Information page?
A:  In the "On Campus For" field, please enter why you will be on campus.  This is a required field to continue to checkout.  Example responses:  Discovery, Jr. Discovery, Summer College 1, Summer College 2, Basketball, or Lacrosse.  Please type "N/A" if this does not apply to you.


Q: Where do I pick up my meal card?
A: You may pickup your meal card at Leo O'Donovan Dining Hall on the first day your meal plan started.
